One of my goals this year is to be smarter and more responsible in how I spend money. The markets were tough last year, and the signs of a speedy recovery this year are not promising. So, I’d like to save extra pennies wherever I can. I came across this LearnVest website a few days ago and decided to give it a shot. It’s free to join and to set up your financial information.
You start off by linking your financial accounts. This part is optional. Everything you will need to get financially organized is here. There’s a cool budgeting tool that helps you plan your spending for the year. You can also use the Sweat Equity Calculator to see the real financial impact of unnecessary spending habits.
I love the Bootcamps. And the best part is, they are Free!!! There are different ones, such as Cut Your Costs, Get Out of Debt, and Priceless Style. In just a few days, you can learn how to get back in financial shape.
There are other cool tools and articles on the site that give tips on developing healthy spending habits in various areas of your life. So, check it out! If I come across any other ways to help, I’ll share with you guys.
If you know of any other good resources, let us know by commenting below. Also, if you have used LearnVest before, I’d love to hear about your experience.
